Streets

The Shippensburg Street Department is responsible for maintenance and repair of the streets and avenues of the Borough of Shippensburg. This includes but not limited to, pothole repairs, repaving of borough streets, storm sewer cleaning and repair, snow and ice removal, and maintenance of street signage.

Street that are located within the Borough Limits that are now not the responsibility of Borough staff are King Street, North Morris Street, South Fayette Street, North Earl Street, North Prince Street and North and South Queen Street. These streets are State Highways and all maintenance of these streets are the responsibility of the State.
